Hice mi doctorado en el Departamento de Psiquiatría del Centro Médico Universitario de Utrecht (Países Bajos) con el profesor Hulshoff Pol y el profesor Kahn. Posteriormente, vine al Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón de Madrid como investigador postdoctoral para trabajar con el profesor Arango y el profesor Desco. Utilicé neuroimagen para investigar los mecanismos de los trastornos de salud mental, en particular el trastorno del espectro autista y la esquizofrenia, con financiación de las becas ISCIII y Ramón y Cajal (I3). Mi interés radica en la aplicación de métodos neurocientíficos y estadísticos que se centran en el individuo más que en el grupo. Me he incorporado recientemente al grupo y estoy deseando contribuir a la ciencia que produce. En mi tiempo libre me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia y montar en bicicleta por la montaña.

I did my PhD at the Department of Psychiatry, University Medical Center Utrecht (the Netherlands) with Prof. Hulshoff Pol and Prof. Kahn. Thereafter I came to the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañon in Madrid as a postdoc to work with Prof. Arango and Prof. Desco. I used neuroimaging to investigate the mechanisms of mental health disorder, particularly autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia, funded by the ISCIII and Ramon y Cajal (I3) grants. My interest lies in applying neuroscientific and statistical methods that focus on the individual rather than group. I have recently joined the group and I am looking very much forward to contributing to the science the group produces. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and ride my bike in the mountains.
